Home >> Portfolio >>BBC Drama Studio, Cardiff Mike Amodeo (Contractors) Limited have installed the concrete floors to the new BBC Drama Village in Cardiff Bay which will become the new permanent home for such well known drama’s as Casualty and Dr Who. The contract, carried out for VINCI Construction UK consisted of laying the concrete to all the Studio and Office floors. The total floor area of 18,000m² included 5,400m² of upper floors to the office areas and mezzanine floors within the studio complex. The studio floors totalled over 12,000m² and were laid to the highest possible ‘free movement’ flatness category FM1.
